A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees C of the Village of Deerfield was called for the purpose of making arrangements on_the purchase of a fire siren. The President celled the meeting to order at 8 P. H. and the following trustees responded to roll call; HcKillip, Palmer, Peterson and Willman. Absent- Pottenger and Scribner. The following quotations were submitted:- W. S. M. with the following trustees answering to roll call;- Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger and Willman. Absent- Trustee HcKillip and Scribner. The minutes of our regular Meeting of February 9, 1937 and of our special meeting of,February 23, 1937 were read and approved. The Chairman of the Health -and County Relations Committee* stated that according to the report of Dr. Davis the health conditions in the village were very good as the only serious case -was one of Pneumonia. The Chairman of the Licence Committee reported a total of•$1405.00 collected to date for 1937 vehicle tags. Fines collected for the month of February; 1937 amo: anted to $16.00 according to the report submitted by Chief of Police McLaughlin. The following bills were read and it was moved by Trustee Peterson and seconded by Trustee Willman that they be approved for payment on receipt of proper funds. Roll call resulted as follova.
