AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION
TO THE VOTERS OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD,
LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, A GENERAL ELECTION
FOR THE OFFICES OF TRUSTEES AND OF POLICE
MAGISTRATE, TO BE HELD IN SAID VILLAGE ON
THE 15TH DAY OF' APRIL, 1947.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE; COUNTY, ILLINOIS;
Section 1. That a general election be held for the
offices of Trustees and of Polia9 Magistrate of the Village
of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, which election is
hereby called to be held on the 15th day of April, 1947,
between the hours of six o1clock in the morning and five
o'clock in the afternoon of the said day.
Section 2. That for the purpose of said election
within the corporate limits of the Village of Deerfield,
ail the territory lying north of Deerfield Road shall con-
stitute a precinct and be designated as Precinct No. 11
the polling place for said Precinct No. 1 is hereby
established at the West Deerfield 'Township Hall on Deer-
field Road, Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, and all of
the territory lying south of Deerfield Road shall con-
stitute a precinct and be designated as Precinct No. 2,
the polling place for said Precinct No. 2 is hereby
established at the Deerfield Village Hail, on Waukegan
Road, Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois.
Section 3. That for the said election the following
named persons be and they are hereby designated and appointed
Judges and Clerks for said election, to -wit:

Section 4. That the Village Clerk is hereby directed
to cause at least forty (40) days? notice of said election
to be given by posting notice thereof at least forty (40)
days before said election in at least three (3) of the most
public places within said Village and at the polling places
herein designated.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and approval.
