A •regular meeting of the President and the hoard of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield -4as called
to order
by the -President Harry E. Wing at 7:30 P.
M.
Roll call- Present- Trustee McKillip,
Peterson, Pottenger,
'Scribner and Willman. Absent- None.
The minutes of the regular meeting held
March 10, 1936
and_the special meeting held March 17,:1936
were read and
approved.
- -' -- -Chairman Peterson of the License ;Committee
;reported
X1314.00 collected for 1936 vehicle tags to date.
.'_, Police Chief McLaughlin reported V124.00
in fines collected
during the 'previous month.
-The Board was informed that George J.
Page, discovered
-an overcharge of ,1500.00 on a water bill
rendered during a
- previous administration and that the.City
of Highland Park
has given the Village of Deerfield credit
for this amount.
It was therefor moved by Trustee McKillip
and duly seconded
' = by Trustee Scribner that we allow George J. Page the sum of
`t�150,OO as cpmpensation for discovering this error.
Those voting "Aye" were.Trustees !IcKillip,
Peterson,
Pottenger, Scribner,and Willman. Those voting "NAY" being
None. ` Motion carried.
. The - following bills were read,and on
motion by Trustee
Scribner and a second by Trustee Peterson.wer,e
approved for
- payment on receipt '.of proper.funds.
Roll call resulted as follows-.. Yeas- Trustee McKillip,
Peterson, Pottenger, Scribner and C'lillman.
