December 10, 1935.
A regular meeting of the President and the Board'of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order: b.
by the President Harry E. Ming at 8 P. M. and
Roll call- Present- Trustee Peterson, Soribnec;,Willman.
Absent- Trustee McKillip amd Pottenger.
The minutes of the regular meeting held November 12, 1935
and the special meetings held November 14, 1935 and November.22,
.1935 were read and approved.
Resolution to tar cracks in pavement on Arterial Streets.
A resolution appropr,iating,,Motor Fuel Tax funds for main-
tenance of arterial streets from October 1, 1935 to October 1,
1936 wasrredd and Trustee Millman made a motion which was duly
seconded by Trustee Peterson that the resolution be passed as
read.
Roll call resulted as follows- Yeas- Trustee Peterson,:'
Scribner, Willman and,the President of-;the Board Wing. Nays -
None. Motion carried.
Resolution designating additional arterial streets.
A resolution designating additional arterial,streets as:
follows was.read:
ARTERIAL ST. # 7 Stratford Road from Greenwood Ave. to
• North Ave., thence east to Grand Ave.
ARTERIAL ST. # 8 Woodland Drive from the west corporate
limits to Stratford Road.
ARTERIAL ST. # 9 Woodward Ave. from Hazel Ave. to Deer-
. field Ave. .
It was moved by Trustee Willman and seconded by Trustee
Peterson that the resolution be passed as read.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken- Yeas- Trustee
Peterson, Scribner., Willman and the President Harry. E. ding.
A motion was made by Trustee Scribner and seconded by
Trustee Willman that a payment of :50.00 be made to Florence
E. Page and $50.00 to Chester Wessling for services rendered
in connection with making out special assessment bills and..,
that this be paid out of the Special Fund.
The roll call resulted as follows- Yeas- Trustees Peterson,
Scribner, Willman and President Wing. Nays- None. Motion
carried.
Water Works Superintendent's Salary_'Increased to_i12•00

A motion was made by. Trustee, ;Scribner, ,which was duly sec -
onded by Trustee PetQrson.that the salary of Water Works Super-
intendent Johnston be 'increased from $100.00 to $125.00 per
month.
Upon roll call the following vote was Aaken.. Yeas Trustee
• Peterson, Scribner,-Willman and President Ming. Nays- None.
• Motion carried.`
A motion was made by Trustee Peterson and seconded by Trustee
Tillman that, Wheras, the Deerfield State Bank, Deerfield, Ill*
has furnished' the Village Board of Deerfield, Ill. with copies
of bank statements as furnished to the Comptroller of Currency
and the Auditor•_of Public Accounts as.of Nov. 1,. 19351
BE IT RESOLVED, after consideration of these statements,-the bank
be continued as the depository for the funds of Florence E. Page,
Village Collector*'
Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Peterson,,Scribner
Willman and President Wing. Naye- None. Motion carried-,-'
The following bills were read and on motion by.Trustee Scribner
which was seconded by Trustee Peterson they were approved for
payment on receipt --of proper funds.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee
Peterson, Scribner, Willman and.President ding. ,Nays- None.
