-Th&s being the date set for the taking of bids for the pur-
chase of a l-,,L Ton Truck,- Chassis and Cab and a 2 yd. heavy duty
dump body,, the clerk was instructed to proceed with the opening
of the bids. It was found that the following bids had ,been sub -
mitted:

.Trustee Page made a' motion which was seconded by Trustee
Willman that the President appoint axommittee to make an invest-
gation of the various chassis and dump bodies covered by these bids
and report back to-ra special meeting, August 20, 1935 at 7:30 P. M.
The roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Page, Peterson,
Pottenger, Scribner and Willman. Nays- None. Motion carried.
. , The President appointed the merribers of the Road and Bridge
committee to act on this committee.

in your zoning ordinance, so that he would be permitted to erect
a restaurant building on Lot 1 in MgGuire & Orr's Northwoods Sub-
division was referred-to the Zoning and Planning Commission.
Moved by Trustee Page and seconded by Trustee'Pottenger to
adjourn. Motion carried.

A special meeting of'the President and the Board od Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield for the purpose of awarding the co#Ltract
for.'al Ton Truck and a 2 Cubic Yard Dump Body and matters pertain-
ing-to,Greenwood Avenue Improvement was called.to order by the Pres-
dent Harry E. Wing at 7:45 P. M. with'the following trustees present;

The.-President asked the.Committee appointed-at the regular Aug-
ust meeting of the Board to give their report as to the.'result of
their investigation of theLvarioustrucks and bodies on which bids
were received* .,.Trustee Willman, chairman, reported that the com-
mittee felt that the*Dodge.Truck and Dump'Body would be the most
satisfactory for our requirements,
—motion made by Trustee Willman and seconded by Trustee Pot-
tenger--that the contract be-awarded to Clavey Motors, Inc. for a
Dodge Truck Chassis and Cab,'Yodel K. H.,331 12 Ton, 161-inch wheel
base, equipped with 32x6, 8 Ply Tiies, Front and 32x6, 8 Ply Dual
Rear, Starter, Lights, Auxiliary-Helper Springs, Front Bumper, Rear
View Mirror; Windshield Wiper and-Hydraulic ,Brakee,for the Sum of
$706.16 and 1 Two Yard heavy duty dump body built of 10 gauge special
high resistant steel, with running boards and vertical side braces,
