03/04/1935March 4, 1935. 177 A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village 1 of Deerfield was called to order at 8 P. M. by Trustee Wing acting as chairman -in the 'absence of the President Harry T. Clave'y. .Roll•call resulted as•follows -: Present - Trustee Page, Peterson, Scribner, Willman and Wing. Absent-,Trustee Pottenger. The minutes of the regular meeting held February 4, 1935 were read and approved. The report of the Finance Committee was read by Trustee ,Page. The matter of setting a dead line for the purchase of City Vehicle Licenses was discussed and it was moved by Trustee= ' Scribner aid seconded by Trustee Peterson that auto owners who j do not purchase their City Automobile License by April 11 1935 will be subject to arrest. Roll call resulted as follows- Yeas- Trustee Page, Peterson, Scribner and Willman. Nays- None.- Motion carried. The report of the Chairman of the Auditing and Printing Committee regarding the audit of the records of the Village Collector and the Village Treasurer showed that the Cash Receipts and Cash Disbursements for the month of January, 1935-were checked and found correct. Trial balances were drawn off from the Gen er L er and Local Improvement. Asset and -Liability 1 record and found to be in balance. �I .The chairman.of the Water Committee stated that'the percen- tage of loss for the past month was somewhat greater than for the month preceding, hnd this is *probably due .to the fact that the quantity used was smaller and thereby raising toe percentage. Total amount collected in February, 1935 wds $881.88 of which $688.72 was for February accounts;. $181.41 for 1934 and.January 1235 and $11.75 on 1933 accounts. The following bills were read: - -- .
