expense to the Village. The President appointed Trustees Pottenger,
Peterson and ding as a committee to meet with the Relief Organ-
ization and work out some plan for inaugurating a clean -up week.
It was moved by Trustee Wing and seconded by Trustee Pottenger
that we adjourn. Motion carried.

A regular meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees
was called to order by the President Harry T. Clavey at 8 :00 P. M.
Roll call : - Present- Page, Peterson, Pottenger, Scribner,
'Willman and Ming. Absent- None.
The minutes of the regular meeting held May 7, 1934 were read
and approved.
REP RTS_
Finance Committee- Trustee Thing, Chairman, gave a comparitive
report of corporate revenues and expenses for the years ending
April 30, 1933 and April 30, 1934 and this report reveals that
for the year ending April 30, 1933 expenses were $$2,324.84 in excess
of.the revenues and in the year ending April 30t 1934 the expenses
were $1,439.89 leas than the revenues or an increase of $$3,764.73
in revenues over expenses as compared to the previous year.
Health and Public Relations Committee- No report.
Judiciary Committee- No report.
License Committee- The dog license tage ordered some time ago,
have not been received and it was requested that Chief•McLaughlin
find out the reason for the delay in the delivery of these tags.
• Auditing and Printing Committee- Trustee Page, Chairman, read
a report on the audit of the books of the Village Collector and
Village Treasurer by Wilson & Co. for the month of May, 1934. The
Corporate Balance Sheet as of May 31, 1934 shows a Net Surplus of
$$5,516.65.
Public .Forks Committee- No report.
Road and Bridge Committee- It.was reported that the sidewalk
near the James Fritsch residence on Deerfield Ave. was in ouch a
condition as to be considered dangerous and steps will be taken
to have same repaired.
Water Committee- Trustee Scribner, Chairman, stated that leaks
in service lines and at hydrants were being repaired and the loss
from leaks recently taken care of was estimated to be in the neigh -
borhood of 33,000 gallons of water, daily. No financial report was

The Building Commissioners reported five permite issued for
the past month.
The Fire Chief Jack Johnston stated that the fire department
was'in need of 2- 25 Ft. Sections of hose and that the clutch on
the' fire truck was in bad shape.
._Trustee Scribner made a motion which was seconded by Trustee
Page that we purchase 2- 25 Foot lengths of hose the price not to
exceed $1.20 per foot and that clutch on fire truck be taken care
of.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas- Page,
Peterson, Pottenger, Scribner, Willman and Thing. Nays None.
Dr. C. Johnston Davis, Health Officer reported to jche Presi-
dent Harry Clavey that the epidemic in the Village was under con
trol.

and Bridge Committee to be reported on by them at the. special
meeting to be held on June 7, 1934.

division requesting gas mains for their subdivision Bas read and
referred to Trustee Pottenger to take the matter up with the
North Shore Gas Co. '
