Motion • AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE REGULATIONS FOR THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, ALTER- ATION,- REPAIR, REMOVAL, SAFETY AND INSPECTION OF BUILDINGS, WALLS$ FENCES AND.STRUCTURES OR PORTION ,,THEREOF, IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS. r BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS: That the building ordinance of the Village of Deerfield be amended as follows: SECTION 1. That from Section 2 of said ordinance the following, words "costing more than.. Two hundred dollars" be striclan� �, and adding in lieu ,.thereof coating- more than $l000.-,.,.,­ SECTION : _.• 11. Road and Bridge Committee Wm D. Johnston reported that all Streets and parkways were cleaned also west side-Septic Tankand `that' dificulty- was being encountered in cleaning the,East Side Tank. That the Water Ordinance or Ordinances of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, shall be changed and amended as follows: All water meters in the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, shall be read by the said Village once each month hereafter, and all customers shall be billed. monthly in accordance with said readings. SECTION 11. That the rate charged the consumer for water shall'be 40¢. per hundred ,for the first thousand cubic feet, 35¢ per hundred for the neat fifteen hundred cubic feet, 300 per hundred for the .next twenty -five hundred cubic feet, and all above five thousand cubic feet to;be 27¢ per hundred cubic feet. The above rates shall apply to all users of water of the said Village, and shall be subject to and allowed a discount of 5¢ per hundred cubic feet -on the entire . bill. if paid within ton (10) days of the billing'date thereof._ . SECTION 111. All properties equipped for use of water from the Village of Deerfield shall be charged at the rate of 50¢ per month when such property is not using water from said village, whether the i meter shall be removed from said premises or not., the above charge being in the interest of fire protection for the property owner end the citizens of the Village of Deerfield. in addition, there shall be a 112.00 installment charge for installing or reinstalling any { meter, whether the same shall have been removed for cause or at the ti " 129 request of the owner or occupant of the premises. SECTION 1V. Any ordinance.or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION V.
