Meeting called to order by the President Mr. Jamee J. Hood with the following
members of the Village Board present J. R. Notz, E. H. Selig, E. F. Sege
C. M. Yifi llmann.
President James J. Hood presented Hon M. D. Oven to the Village Board.
A Motion was made by Trustee Begert and seconded by Willmann That Hon.
M. D. Owen of 208 South LaSalla Street Chicago Illinois be employed as 8"'Dia
Special Council for the Village of Deerfield for the water Litigation with th.
the City of Highland Park at the present retaining fee of Three Hundred
Dollars. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Trustee +7illmann and aemonded by Tr)w tee'Notz that
the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.

Minutees of the meeting of May 2, 1932 and May 9, 1932 were read and,approved
Mr Watts. and Mr VanBleck of the Central Republic bank of Chicago
were present and asked that they may be heard in regard to the Special
assessments on the Brairwoods subdivision They stated their views
in regard to the payment of the Special !lppecement the weve
asked to poapone the diearing until the rA h day o�iw 1932 so that
Cdr J. Fred McQuire might be present and give us his views on the subject
A motion was made by Trustee Tirag 14conded by Trustee Selig that
the meeting be adjourned until , 932. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Truatte Timm and seconded by Trustee Selig that
the Village Clerk consult the attorney in regard to the giving of a
Tax Anticipation 'Warrant tothe public Service Cc 4-or in payment of the bills
rendered by them. Motion carried.
A motion was made By Trustee Willmann And seconded by Trustee aelig that t
the Peddler Ordenance be reed abd held for passago upon advise from
Village - Council. ?lotion carried. A-so
A motion was"made by trustee Bogert and seconded by True$ee Selig
That the water ordinance be passed as read.-Motion carried.
