'A Regular meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees of
the' Village,of Deerfield was called to order by the President, Mr.
71. W. Geary, at 8 :30 P.M.
'Roll Call: Present: Labahn, Segert, Timm,
Uchtman and Selig
Absent: Barrett
'The minutes of the meetings of November 4th and 25th were read
and' approved.
The marking of the street in front of.Clarence Sheridan's resi-
dence showing the center of the street was recommended, and work
was ordered done as soon as the weather would permit.
' The question of putting up street markers and furnishing house
` numbers was discussed, and it was decided that an attempt would be
made this winter to finance this, as the postal authorities were
considering putting in the mail carrier system'.
A motion was made by Labahn and seconded by Selig ,that beginning
January.1 1930 the salary of the Chief of Police, Percy 'McLaughlin,
shall be 4210 per month. Upon roll call the following vote was
taken: Yeas- Labahn, Segert, Selig, Timm and Uchtman. Nays -none.
"Motion carried.
A motion was made by Selig vnd seconded by Segert that the bills
be paid. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas- Labahn,
'Segert, Selig, Timm and Uchtman. Nays -none. Motion carried.,
