for Grading, paving, curbing, draining, and. otherwise improving; the:
roadways of a portion of Fair Oaks, Avenue- and Second Street in the
Vil lag e� of : Deerfi el d, Lake, County, Ill ino is, and the roadways. of all
interHe-etigg streets: and. alleya within the- street lines of that portion
of said Fair Oaks, Avenue, and Second Street and not included in ' the^
roadways t rnreof, and providing for paying the cost of said improve-
ment by spe-dial assessment and the issuing of improvement bonds_, was

requeating him to draw up; an ordinance requiring the C. M -. & St. Paul
R. R. to run all trains. passing through or within the-limits, of, the
Village of .D -eerf Feld. at & apee•d not to exceed fif teem miles per hour.
Also that the blowing- of train whistles, be, prohibited. within the
