Chairman Cazel appointed the members of the Road & Bridge
and the Public Works Committee with himself as chairman to act
as a special committee to locate a building for the housing of
the village equipment.
Trustee Benz made a motion that the resolution to institute
foreclosure proceedings against Lot .6 in 0. B. Von LindelM Sub-
division be passed as read, and that the same becomes in force
and effect only when the petitioner, Kenneth J. Weir signs and
delivers a letter gauranteeing a minimum bid. This motion was
seconded by Trustee Stanger.
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis.
Those voting "Nayff being None.
A motion was made by Trustee Benz and seconded by Trustee
Stanger that the resolution to institute foreclosure proceedings

Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas— Trustee Benz, Cazel,
Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays— None. Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trustee

Benz that a committee be appointed to draft a letter of condolence
to be sent to Mrs.'Tietor E. Carlson and family.
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Those
voting "Nay" being None.
Chairman Cazel appointed Village Attorney Seago and Trustee
Benz to act as a committee to draft such a letter.
A motion was made by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trustee
Stanger that Homer G. Cazel be authorized to sign checks as ,
President of.the Board

Deerfield was called•to order by Chairman pro tem Homer G. Cazel
at 7 :45 P.•M, for the purpose of canvassing the returns of the
election held April 17, 1945. -
Roll call— Present - Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott,
Stanger and Tennis.
Absent — None.
