01/09/1945�9616 Homer Cazel, Chairman pro tem appointed Mayor Carlson and Trustee Mercurio to act as a committee to contact officials of the Milwaukee Road with reference` -to furnishing more parking space at their station. Trustee -Benz made a motion that the resolution to special assessments on Lot in "Block 2 in the Original Town of Deerfield be returned to Bradley,.8eago &Vetter with the request that a per tentage gauranteed bid be s}ibmitted with the'resolution. This motion was seconded by Trustee ,Mercurio. Roll-call resulted as follows- Yeas- Trustee Benz, Mercurio Scott, 'Stanger and Tennis.''Nays- -None. Turner as Village Treasurer of.the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, and 7AEREAS, it is the desire of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois that said bond be increased in penalty__from Five Thousand and no /100 ($5.000.00) Dollars to Ten Thousand and No /100 ($10.000.00) Dollars effective ac of January 15, 1945. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Hartford Accident and Indemnity,Company's Bond No. 1693076 executed in behalf.of Charles J. Turner.as-Treasurer of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, is increased to the penalty of $10.000.00 as of the 15th day of January, 1945. Acting on the recommendation of Auditor Albert,L. Roderick a motion was made by Trustee Tennis and seconded by Trustee Stanger that the sbave - resolution increasing the Village Treasurer's Bond in penalty from $5.000.00 to $10,000.00, be adopted.
