10/10/1944218 BE IT RESOLVED by the Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, that the prayer of Walter W. Behm for the vacation of the property described as follows: Briargate Villas, a Subdivision of part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd P. M., in Lake County, Illinois, according to the plat therof recorded June 30, 1926, as Document No. 281774, 'including all streets, avenues and alleys or portions thereof particularly shown and described in said-plat be granted, and all rights of the public in and to the aforesaid streets, avenues and alleys or portions thereof, and all rights of use of any such streets, avenues and alleys vested from the public as provided by the Statutes of the State of Illinois in such cases, and the Recorder of Deeds of said Lake County, Illinois, is hereby requested and required to vacate and cancel said plat above described from the records of said County as platted pro - perty and mark same "Vacated" as provided by law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall take effect and be in force for and after its passage provided that the said ' Walter 'W. Behm shall within thirty ( 30) days after passage _of this resolution file for redord in the Office of Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, a certified copy of this resolution. Trustee'Cazel made a motion that the Robert S. Sage bill for damages to street light be turned over to Village Attorney Seago for collection. This motion was seconded by Trustee Scott. The regular meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President Victor E. Carlson at 8 P. M. Roll call- Present - Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. ' Absent- None. The minutes of our regular meeting held September.12 1944 were read and approved. A motion was made by Trustee Bca that the permit for a garage issued November 2, 1943 to Carl E Olson, 1121 Greenwood Ave., be revoked as recommended by Building Commissioner Gooder as the same was erected in violation of our building code. Tnis motion was seconded bynTrustee Scott. ' Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Those t voting "Nay" being None. It was moved by Trustee Benz and seconded by Trustee Cazel that the two' contracts _a$ for lighting service as submitted .bit the Public Service Co. of Northern Illinois, be accepted subject to the approval of Village Attorney Seago. Motion carried. 219 Trustee Mercurio made a motion that the'matter of pumping out East Side Septic Tank be tabled for the time being. This was-seconded by Trustee Cazel. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- All. -Nays- None. Motion carried. Police Magistrate. Hunt's report showing X124.00 in fines collected for the month of September was read-and it was moved by Trustee Scott and seconded by .Trustee Stanger that this report be received. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None. Motion carried. The following bills were.read and it was moved by Trustee Stanger and seconded by Trustee Cazel that these bills be approved for payment on the receipt of proper funds. f Motion unanimously carried. Trustee Cazel made a motion that Peter Juhrend be noti- Pied to have an exit installed at the rear of the Deerfield Bowling Academy for the use of the pin boys in case of an .emergency and that this must be taken care of by November 15, 1944 and if not,.due legal process will follow- Motion seconded by Trustee Mercurio. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None. Motion carried.
