08/08/1944214 BE, AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Trustees of the .Village of Deerfield that Erwin Seago, as attorney for the Village be and he is hereby authorized and directed to institute proceedings on behalf of the Village of Deerfield for the fore- closure of the lien of special assessments against the above .described property; BE, AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that Erwin Seago, as attorney for the Village of Deerfield be and he is hereby authorized to institute said proceedings by the filing of a com- plaint on behalf of the Village for the foreclosure of the lien of special assessments levied against the. above described property, all in accordance with the statutes of the State of Illinois in such case made and provided. BE; AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the fore- . going is on condition that the Village of Deerfield shall be held harmless from and shall .not be required .to pay-any costs, fees, or charges in connection with such ;oreclogre proceedings. It was -moved -bye Trustee Cazel that a resolution for the maintenance of certain arterial streets in the Village of Deerfield with monies from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund be adopted. This motion was seconded by Trustee Stanger. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeae- Trustee Benz,•Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. prays None. Motion carried. Trustee Scott made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Cazel that the report as submitted by Police Magistrate Hunt showing $74.00 in fines collected during the month of J,41y, be accepted.
