A motion was made by 'Trust ee Benz'and duly seconded
by Trustee Stanger that the Treasurer .'be instructed'to.
issue a check in the amount of $150.00 in favor of Erwin
Seago for sbrvices in connebtion with the drafting of the
proposed Deerfield Code and payments to be made by him as
outlined in' his letter of December 6,' 1943 to President
Victor E. CRrlson.
Upon roll call`t #e following vote was taken. Yeas-,'
Trustee Benz -, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott,'Stanger and Tennis,
• Nays- Done. • Motion carried:
It was moved by Trustee "Benz and seconded by Trustee
Stanger that William Johnston contact Mr. Irl Marshall for
the donation or use of one of the"-Arcola units from the
• building rebently purchased by him and if unable to make
such an arrhngement to begin negotiations with the Deer-
field Rationing Board for the purchase bf a stove from
Sears- Roebubk & Co. for use in the Field House.
Roll ball resulted as 'follows. Yeas- Trustee Benz,
Mercurio, S66tt, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None..
Motion carried.
- In a letter.to Corporation Counsel'Erwin-Seago the
following persons have called his attention to the lack of
street lights at the following locations and requested the
Board to consider this matter.
1. On-_-West Deerfield Road just east of the Milwaukee
Railread tracks on north aide of street.
2. At the corner.of Deerfield Road and Rosemary Terrace.
3. At the corner-of Waukegan Road and Orchard Street:,
