October 12, 1943.
The regular meeting of the President And hoard of'Tr = tees
of the Village of Deerfield was called to ozider by the President,
Victor E., Carlson- at_ eight P.I.
RQ11 call - -- Present,Trustse Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott
and Tennis. Absent - -- Trustee Stanger.
The minutes of the meeting held September 14, 1943 were
read and approved. y
vTrusteg Benz made a motion that we establish a fixed charge of
50.00 to property owners outside'of the village limits of Deerfield
Mv
for permission to tap into our watermain. This motion was seconded by
Trustee Mercurio. The motion unanimously carried,those voting "Aye"
being 'Trustee Benz, Cazel, Idercurio, Z;cott and Tennis: those voting
"Nay",npne.
It was moved by Trustee Benz and.seconded by Trustee Mercurio
that we approve the request of Dr. J.Z.Lachner as submitted by ILA.
Frantz for a 3/4 inch Tap and metpr with the understanding that the
cost�of permit and materials be ta.cen care of by Dr. Lachner.
Upon roll call the following vote ;vas taken: Yeas- Trustee
Benz, , Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Tennis. Nays- None. I:lotion carried.
A motion was made by Tr ust9eflercurio and duly seconded by
Trustee. Benz -that the following bills be approved for payment if
as, and when funds are available.

for the maintenance of the Stop and Go lights at the intersectitin

It was moved by Trus1tie Scott and seconded by Trustee
Cazel that we officially recognize the appointment of Percy 1.10'
Lauhilin as Chief of Police, and Alfred Anderson as Police Officer.
