The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President
Victor E. Carlson at 8 P. M. ti
Roll call- Present- Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Stanger
and Tennis. ,Absent- Trustee Scott.
The minutes of the regular meeting held August 16, 1943
were read-and approved.
A motion was made by Trustee-Mercurio and seconded by
Trustee Stanger that the report of Police Magistrate Hunt showing
$65.00 in fines collected during the month of August, -1943 be
accepted and placed on file.
Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas - Trustee Benz, Oa.zel,
Mercurio, Stanger and,Tennis. Nays- None. Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Mercurio -and seconded by Trustee
Stanger, in accordance with letter received from Corporation
Counsel Seago -that we reimburse Mrs. Carl Scheer the amount of
$5.00 for monies expended in the disposal of her dog.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee
Benz Oazel, Mercurio, Stanger.and Tennis. Nays- None. ;lotion
carried. _
Trustee Mercurio made a motion that the tquarantine on dogs
• issued in a proclamation by President Victor E. Carlson.on July
15, 1943 be .lifted. This motion was seconded by Trustee Benz.
Roil call resulted as follows. Yeas- All. Nays- None.
Motion carried.
It was:.moved by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trustee
Cazel that a letter of thanks be sent to Mr. Kenneth Towler of
Bannockburn for the gift of a, Fyr -Fyter for the squad car.
Motion carried by a unanimous vote.
Trustee Benz made a motion that the Proposal of Chas. A.
Bickford. to make 2- 21' tapa in the watermain in Central Avenue
as outlined in his letter -of September.14, 1943, be accepted.
This motion..was seconded by Trustee Cazel.
Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Bcnz, Oazel,
Mercurio, Stanger and Tennis. Nays - None. Motion carried.
The following bills were read and a motion made by Trustee
Stanger which was duly seconded by Trustee Cazel that these bills
be approved for payment,- if, as and when funds are available.
Motion unanimously carried. - Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Stanger and Tennis. Those voting
"Nay" being None.

latest
edition of Aring's Justice Forms.

ordinance $roviding for a Local Registrar of Vital Statistics
be passed as read. Motion was seconded by Trustee Cazel.

ORDINANCE 210.
ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A LOCAL
REGISTRAR OF VITAL STATISTICS
BE IT ORDAINED`by the President and the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, that:
Section 1. The Village Clerk shall be Registrar of
Vital Statistics for the munioipality4
Section 2. A report of all births, stillbirths, and
deaths shall be made to the local Registrar of Vital Statistics,
which report shall contain all information required.by the���Act
to provide fox the registration of all births still birth's, and
deaths in the.State of Illinois, and to repeal an act herein
named", approved June 22, 1915 as amended.
Section 3. Tne local Registrar shal.1 keep a record
showing all births, still births, and deaths occuring within
the municipality, which record shall include all information re-
quired to be kept by the Act hereinabove_described.'',
Section 4. This ordinance shall be iii full force from
and after its. passage and approval as provided by law.
