The minutes of the regular meeting held April 13, 1943 and of the special meeting of the Canvassing Board were read and approved. A`motion was made, seconded and carried to-adjourn sine die. C The following bills were read and a motion was made by Trustee Stanger which was duly seconded by Trustee Cazel that these bills be paid when and as funds are available. The Police Magistrate Dan Hunt submitted his report for the month of April which showed $10.00 in fines collected. It was moved by Trustee Scott and seconded by Trustee-Stanger that this report be received. Roll call- Yeas- All. Nays- None. Motion carried. The following committees were appointed by the President Victor E. Carlson and it was moved by Trustee Stanger and duly seconded by Trustee Cazel that these appointments be confirmed by the Board. Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Benz, Oazel,-Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Those voting "Nay" being None. FINANCE COMMITTEE Floyd Stanger, Chairman George T. Scott Anthony J. Mercurio The Finance Committee will have in its charge all finan- cial matters, including financial statements, budgets, etc. They will approve, subject to the approval of the Village Board, all Village expenditures. HEALTH COMMITTEE George T. Scott, Chairman P. Allen Tennis John A. Benz The Health Committee will have in its charge all matters pertaining to the general health conditions in the Village. 1.79 PUBLIC RELATIOITS AND *PUBLICITY COMMITTEE P. Allen Tennis, Chairman George T. Scott John A. Benz The Public Health and Publicity Committee will have in its charge all matters pertaining to public tela,tions and publicity in the Village. JUDIOIARY COMMITTEE Anthony J. Mercurio, Uhairman �Y George T. Scott John A. Benz The Judiciary Committee will be charged with the duty of recommending to the Board the drafting of ordinances as well as any necessary legal work in connection therewith. LICENSE COMMITTEE . Allen Tennis The License Committee will be charged with the duty of recommending to the Board-the issuance of licenses, permits, eto., as well as making certain that collections are made on same. AUDITING COMMITTEE P. Allen Tennis, Chairman John-A. Benz Floyd Stanger The Auditing Committee will be charged with the duty of recommending to the Board any necessary auditing. PRINTING COMMITTEE George T. Scott, Chairman Homer G.•Cazel Floyd Stanger The Printing Committee will be charged with the duty of recommending to the Board all- matters- relating to printing and advertising. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE Homer G. Cazel, Chairman -Anthony J. Mercurio Floyd Stanger. The Public-Works Committee will be charged with the duty of supervising, operating and-maintaining properties belonging to the Village other than those specifically provided herein to be under the jurisdiction of other committees. Mercurio Floyd Stanger The Road and.Bridge Committee will be charged with the general maintenance and upkeep of all streets and roads, road equipment, and bridges and the cleaninf of streets and sidewalks. PATER COMMITTEE John A. Benz, Chairman George T. Scott Homer G: Oazel 11ac The Suter Committee will have charge of the construction, operation and maintenance of all water mains and the operation and main maintenance of meters and other related equipment. They will recom- mend to the Board, any changes in rates for water, and will make certain that water bills are collected as promptly as possible. POLICE COMMITTEE George T. Scott, Chairman P. Allen Tennis Homer G. Cazel The Police Committee will have jurisdiction over the Police Department, including their equipment and personnel. FIRE DEPARTMENT COMMITTEE Anthony J.
