cause at least 40 days' notice of said election to be given by
posting notice thereof at least 40 days before said election in

.Deerfield Review, a newspaper published in and of general circu-
lation within the Village, at least once, such publication to be
not less than 40 days prior to said elaction.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective immed-
lately upon its passage and approval.

A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of.Deerfield was called to order by the President
Victor E. Carlson at 7 :30 P. M.
Roll call Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger.
Absent- Trustee Crush.
An ordinance providing for 'retainer fee for the Village
Attorney of the Village of ' Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois was
read and a motion made by Trustee Stanger and seconded by Trustee f\
Benz that this ordinance be passed as read.
Roll call resulted as follows. Yews- Trustee Benz, Cazel,
Scott and Stanger. Na voting Trustee Mercurio. motion carried.
