You will no doubt remember that Ambrose Montavon, also deceased, and his wife, the.above deceased, were for many years prominent residents of Deerfield, Illinois. You may also remember that Mr. and Mrs. Idontavon wers were the owners of approximately tilio and a half acres of real estate right on. the east side of 1aukegan Road just south of the property at the north end of the village, being held for school and public purposes. The heirs, being fully cognizant of Pair• and Mrs. P,iontavon's affection for the Village of Deerfield and the community in general, have most generously offered to bestow this piece of reak estate upon the Village, to be used by the Village for public purposes. The heirs would, of course, wish to have a small placque prepared and placed on the property indicating that the same has been donated in honor and memory of Ambrose and Fay Montavon. We< should be very glad to discuss this matter with you in further detail- if you need additional information in presenting it to your Board of Trustees. x _ Very truly yours, V _ _. _, • __ SEATO, BRADLEY do VETTER ` _. -- (Signed) ne d) B • g y.
