BE, IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this ordinance is adopted and shall. constitute an' exercise by the Village of its gov- ernmental functions for the imme- diate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and nei ther the Village nor any individual responding to the regulations law- fully proclaimed and published by the President, or called upon to as.! sist in enforcing the same shall be liable in a suit for damages in con nection therewith.; There shall be no liability on the part of said Vil lage or any.person whatsoever for attemppting in good -faith to carry ' out the., provisions of this Ordi- nance, no matter what may occur as a result thereof.
