On motion by-Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trustee
Stanger, duly carried the contract and agreement By and Between
The Village of Deerfield, the Village of Bannockburn and the
Volunteer Fire Department of Deerfield-was unanimously adopted.
A motion was made by Trustee Scott and seconded by Trustee =;
Mercurio that the report of Police Magistrate-Dan Hunt for the
month of August be accepted. F
Roll call — Yeas— All. Nays— None. Motion carried.
The request of Mr. Wainwright for gravel on street from
his home to Wilmot-Road was referred to Trustee-Cazel, Chairman
of the. Road and Bridge Committee.
It was moved by Trustee Cazel -and seconded by Trustee
Mercurio that Village Attorney Olson confer with the Contractor
and also the Finance Co. with-reference to driveway on the Carl Y:
Frick property.
Roll.call resulted -as- follows. Yeas— Trustee Cazel, Benz, j.
Mercurio, Scott and-Stanger.-. Nays— None. motion carried.
A motion was made-by Trustee Cazel and duly seconded by
Trustee Mercurio- that-all future driveways be built within the
property lines and that hereafter a $50.00 Cash Bond be posted
before building such-driveway.
Motion.unanimously carried. -Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and-Stanger. Those voting i
"Nay" being None.
It was moved by Trustee Mercurio and-seconded by Trustee
'Stanger that the-bids -for the Greenwood Avenue Paving project
be advertized in -the Deerfield News.

Mercurio, Scott and-Stanger.- -Nays— None. Motio /carried.

of the Village of- Deerfield- was - called to order by Clerk Wessling
at 8 P. M..for the purpose- of- ppening bids and awarding contract
for the improvement of(Greenwood Avenue) - Arterial Street No. 21
Section 3 —C.S. with - the - following trustees- - responding to the roll
call; Benz, Cazel,.- Mercurio, - -Scott and Stanger. Absent— President
Victor E. Carlson and- Trustee-Crush.- -
It.was moved- by- Trustee-Benz-and� seconded by Trustee
Stanger that Trustee- Cazel-act as-President-pro -tem. Motion
carried. - - - --
The following bids for-the-improvement of Arterial Street
No. 2, Section 3 —C.S. were-submitted,--opened -and read as follows;-

A motion was 'made by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by
Trustee Stanger that Peter Baker & Son Co., being the low bidder
at a price of $15,779.73 be awarded the contract for the improve -
ment of (Greenwood Ave.) Arterial-Street No. 2, Section 3 —C.S.
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Benz, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger. -Those voting "Nayll
being None.
