07/15/1941 + 07/26/1941125) July 15, 1941. A special meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President Victor E. Carlson for the purpose of taking action on Village of Bannockburn Fire Protection and any other matters which may come before the meeting, at 8 P. M. Present were Trustee Benz, Cazel, Scott and Stanger. Absent were Trustee Crush and Mercurio. It was "'moved by Trustee Benz and duly seconded by Trustee Scott that Attorney Olson be authorized to draw up a contract for a -Fire Protection Agreement between Village of Bannockburn, Village of Deerfield and the Deerfield Firemen. Motion unanimously carried. Harris Brothers presented a plat of pro osed subdivision within The Briergate Golf Course bordering (1� Deerfield Road and Brierhill Road and (2) Waukegan Road, with an $8,500.00 restriction on those homes bordering -on Deerfield Road and a $10,000.00 re- striction on those facing on Brierhill Road. The Waukegan Road project to be worked out at a later date. It was moved by Trustee Stanger and seconded by Trustee . Cazel that a program be worked out by the Harris brothers to sub- divide the Briergate property, subject to the ordinances of the Village of Deerfield. Motion, unanimously carried. It was moved by Trustee'Cazel and duly seconded'by Trustee Scott that the bill of $8.50 dated July 17, 19401 Dahl Auto R_econstruction'Co. be approved for payment. Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Nay" being None. - ' 'Complaints having been received regarding.transients living at the National Brick Co. clay -hole, a motion was made by Trustee Scott and seconded by Trustee Cazel that we contact the President ' of the National Brick Co. by letter requesting that their company show cause at our next regular meeting why all the transients now living on their property and the shacks they inhabit should not be moved, all in the confines of the Village of Deerfield. ' Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas— Trustee BBnz Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger. Nays- None. Motion carried. Moved by Trustee Benz and seconded by Trustee Stanger that the Village Attorney be instructed to make reply to letter received from Lincoln Pettis regarding water rates for the, - Village of Bannockburn. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger. Nays- None. Motion carried. .- A motion was made by Trustee Benz and seconded by Trustee Stanger that we not -Ify all water users that are delinquent 60 days or more that their -names will.be read.at all meetings of the Board and their names posted in some prominent place. Motion - unanimously carried. -Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Benz, Cazel, Mercurio; Scott and Stanger. Those voting "Nayf► being None. It was moved by Trustee Benz and seconded by Trustee Cazel that'the fee for water permits be increased 10410 to meet the rising cost'of materials. ' Roll call resulted as follows.
