The minutes of our regular meeting of May 13, 1941-and of
the special meeting held May 201 1941 were read and approved.
The following bills were read'and it was moved by Trustee

12 and 13 was announced by the President Victor E. Carlson.
The President Victor E. Carlson appointed Percy McLaughlin
as Chief of Police and Alfred H. Anderson as Night Officer to
succeed themselves and it was moved by Trustee Scott and duly
seconded by Trustee Stanger that these appointments be approved
by the Village Board. Motion unanimously carried.
An application from Liebschutz Bros. for a Class "Bn Liquor
License and an application from the Briergate Country-Club for a
Class Ila” Liquor License were submitted to the Board and'it was
moved by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trustee Cazel that
these applications be accepted and licenses granted.
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Caze1, Benz, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger,, Those voting
"Nay" being None.
-'A motion was made by Trustee Stanger and seconded by
Trustee Scott that the request of Sticken and Peterson for the
refund of the $100.00 .Cash Bond deposited with the application
for their Class "Dn Liquor license be granted.
