Enclosed are three certified copies of the Ordinance and Union
oil company lease. Please return one signed copy to me.
Also enclosed is the inforration on the Township ant Villaga
referenda of P.nril 1, 1941 and April. 15, 1941 on the liquor
question. I had all the inforr 1tion and had only to retype it
for you. This time I made several copies.
DCopies of the minutes of Board meetings of January lei through
`•.I `Tote that Section 20 0£ the Liquor
209 1941 are enclosed.
Ordinance ps4sec9`!ay 20 states in part " - - -it shall therefore
take effect L- mediately after passage, signing, recording and
publication, pursuant to law." Shall I check with the County
Recorder to ascertain whether the ordinance was recorded? The
original ordinance is one of those which is missing, and was
probably lost when the 1946 recodification was prepared.
I have checked the Township records on the liquor referendum
and the minutes of the Tom Board and annual Township meeting,,
and found nothin applicable. Shall I check further and do you
want copies of these minutes? Let me know what you want and
I'll try to supply it.
Sincerely,
