January 14, 1941.
The regular meeting of the.President and the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by
the President C. L2. '►illman at 8 P. 11. with the following
responding to the roll call, Trustee Cazel, Crush, Pottenger
and Schneider. Absent- Trustee Palmer. N
The minutes of our regular meeting held November 12,
1940, the special meeting held November 26, 1940, the regular
meeting of December 10, 1940 which was not held because of
"no quorem" present and the special meeting held December 20,
1940 were read and approved.
The following bills were read and it was moved by
Trustee Schneider and secondeu by Trustee Pottenger that
these bills be approved for payment on receipt of proper
funds. `
Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Cazel,
Crush, Pottenger and Schneider. Nays- None. I�iotion carried.

The report of the Deerfield Days Carnival as submitted
by the Auditor Albert L. Roderick shows total receipts as
being '5048.32 and. disbursements amounting to ',4?3300.03.which
leaves a net of ;1748.29 of which 20 will be turned over to
the Deerfield Fire Department to be deposited in their Fire
Truck. Fund. Fire Chief Uchtman stated that when this amount
is r3ceived, they will have approximately "1000.00;1oward the
purchase of a new fire truck.
A motion was made by Trustee Schneider and seconded by
Trustee Pottenger that ithe full license fee of X600.00 be
collected for all Class D licenses as provided for in our
ordinance.
Upon roll call the following; vote was taken. Yeas -
Trustee Cazel, Crush, Pottenger and Schneider. Nays- None.
motion carried.
