The following persons have filed: applications for the position
of special police officers. Ted Sticken; Lester Marshall, Paul
8nigge, Russell Batt and Henry Tuttle.
A motion was made by Trustee Cazel and duly seconded by
Trustee Cole that three persons;be selected from this list of
applications.
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "aye" being
Trustee Cazel, Cole, Crush and.-Pottenger. Those voting "Nay"
being None.
A motion was:made by Trustee Crush and'seconded by Trustee
Cole that the Village Attorney bevinstructed to draw up an
ordinance with reference to open wells which would carry with it
a minimum penalty of $15.00 and a- maximum penalty of $100.00 to
all owners who do not fill up their open wells or place a suitable
concrete.cover over them.
Roll call re$ulted as follows. - Yeas -- Trustee Cazel, Cole,
Crush and Pottenger. Nays -- None. - Motion - carried:.
It was moved.by Trustee Oole and seconded by Trustee
Pottenger that the.Auditor Albert L. Roderick be instructed to
determin@ the proration -due -on.certain bonds listed in the
complaint of certain bondholders and the liability of the village
on unpaid proration of these bonds.

Trustees of the Village of-Deerfield-was called to order by the
President 0. M. Wiilman - -at 8:15_P.M. with the following trustees
