The Annual Audit of the Village Oollectorts and the Village Treasurer's records was 13resented and a motion was made'by Trustee Cole and adeonded by Trustee Schneider that the text of this report be read by the Auditor Albert L. Roderick. Motion unanimously carried. , Motion made by Trustee Pottenger and duly seconded by Trustee Cole to accept the auditor's report. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Cazel, Cole,. Crush, Palmer, Pottenger and Schneider. Nays- None. Motion carried. Moved by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Palmer that each member of the Village Board be furnished with a copy of the Auditor's report. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas - Trustee Oazel, Cole, Palmer aid Pottenger. Nays - Trustee Orush. Trustee Schneider- Not voting. Motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Oazel and duly seconded by Trustee Cole that the road contractor E. A. Meyer Construction Co. be ordered to oil the the driveway at their plant from Central Ave. to their setup. Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Oazel, Cole Crush,.Palmer, Pottenger and Schneider. Those voting "Nay" Leing None. M. The President declared the motion to.be out of order. A motion was made by Trustee -Orush -and seconded by Trustee Cole that an appeal be taken from the President's decision. Roll call-resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Cazel, Cole, . Crush and Schneider. -- Nays- Trustee Palmer and Pottenger. Motion carried.. . • 4 Roll call on passing liquor license over President's veto resulted as follows. - Yeas- Trustee Oazel, Cole, Orush.and Schneider. Nays - Trustee Palmer and Pottenger.- Motion carried. it was moved -by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Palmer .that the .liquor ordinance as just passed be thrown out and . a new ordinance-drawn up. 75 Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee Palmer and Pottenger. .Nays -. Trustee Cazel, Cole, Crush and Schneider. Motion lost. Trustee Schneider presented a number of applications for liquor licenses and a motion was made by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Palmer that we accept all of the applications as presented. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Palmer and Pottenger.. Nays- Trustee Cazel, Cole, Crush and Schneider. Motion lost. -- A motion was made by Trustee Schneider and seconded by Trustee Cole to accept a fee of $200.00 instead of $350.00 for • a Class C license for the ensuing year. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee Cazel, Cole, Crush and Schneider. Nays- Trustee Palmer and Pottenger. Motion carried. Moved by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Palmer to accept a fee of-$100.00 instead of $200.00 for Class C license for the ensuing year. q- oll call resulted as follows. It was moved by Trustee Cazel' and seconded by Trustee Pottenger that the resolution appropriating Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1200.00) for shaping, adding - gravel where required, improve drainage and apply oil with sand covering.on Arterial Streets Nos. 2, 3, 11, 12 and 13 under the Motor Fuel Tax Law be adopted. Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Cazel, Cole, Crush, Palmer, Pottenger and Schneider. Nays - None. • A motion was made by Trustee Crush and seconded by Trustee Cole that permission be granted to receive applications for two special police officers to serve in emergencies. Moved by Trustee Cole and seconded by Trustee Crush that the resolution to continue the Deerfield State Bank as the depository for the funds of the Village Collector Florence E. Page Stryker be adopted. Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Cazel, Cole, Crush, Palmer, Pottenger and Schneider., Nays- None. - A complaint was received from W. S. McKee and read and referred to the Police Committee for'-their consideration. Trustee Cole moved the appointment of Charles J. Turner • as Village Treasurer, Milton 0. Olson as Village Attorney and Dr. 0. Johnston Davis'as Health Officer for the ensuing year. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee Oazel, Cole, Crush, Palmer, Pottenger and Schneider. Nay's- None. Motion carried. A motion was made by 'Trustee Cole 'and duly seconded by Trustee Pottenger that a new flag be purchased at a cost not to exceed Twenty .five Dollars (425.00) Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Oazel, Cole, Crush, Palmer,'Pottenger_and Schneider. Nays= None. Motion carried.
