09/12/193948 September 12, 1939. The regular meeting of the President and the Board-of Trustees ofLthe Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President 0. M. Willman at 8 :10 P. M. with the following ` Trustees responding to roll'call; Oazel, Cole, Crush, Palmer and Schneider. Absent- Trustee Pottenger. The minutes of the regular meeting held August 8, 1939 were read and approved. Moved by Trustee Cole that the following appointments be made and confirmed and that their terms shall expire April 309 1941. Motion duly seconded by'Trustee Schneider. �..It& Water Superintendent William-Johnston Village Collector Florence E: Page Stryker. Auditor Albert L. Roderick Chief of Police Percy McLaughlin Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Cole, Crush and Schneider. Nays- Trustee Palmer. Trustee Cazel not voting. Motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Crush and seconded by Trustee Cole that Trustee Pottenger be appointed to the Chairmanship of the Auditing Committee to succeed Trustee Palmer and that Trustee Schneider be appointed as- Chairman of the Health ` Committee to succeed Trustee Palmer. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee Cole, Crush and Bohdeider. Nays - 'Trustee Palmer. Trustee Cazel not voting. Motion carried. ' The following bills were.read and it was moved by Trustee Cole and seconded by Trustee Crush that these bills be ap- proved`for payment on receipt of proper funds. Motion unanimously carried.
