A motion was mode by Trustee* Pottenger and duly seconded
by *Trustee Peterson to authorize the payment of $7.50 per
month to Edward P. Osterman as our proportionate share for
services as crossing guard at Warrington and Deerfield Rodds.
Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Hertel,
Palmer, Peterson', Pottenger,. Schneider and Stupple. Nays -
None. -Motion "carried
A resolution authorizing the continuance of the Deer-
field State Bank as the depository for the funds of the`
Village Collector Florence E. Page was read and Trustee
Pottenger moved that this resolution-be adopted as,read
and the same was duly seconded by Trustee Stupple. Motion
unanimously carried'. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee
. Hertel,ePalmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple.
Moved, seconded and carried to adjourn.

A special meeting -of the President and the Board of
Trustees of -the Village-of Deerfield was called to order by
the President 0. 14. Willman at 8 P. M4 for the purpose of
accepting a plat .for a proposed subdivision on the Hood
property in the :* of the NEE-1 of Sec. 32, T. 4311. R. 17,
E. of the 3rd P..M.. and also to take up the matter of- Sewer-
Water Revenue Bonds for the - purpose of making alterations
and additions to the two existing sewerage treatment plants
in the Village. of Deerfield,. Illinois, a-.0 .
Roll call- Present- Trustee Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger,
Schneider and Stupple. Absent- Trustee Hertel.
Mr. James J. Hood presented a lat for the subdivision
of his property in the I1 - of the bTE of Sec. 32, T. 43N, R,
12-, c. of the 3rd P. -M. in the Village of Deerfield, Lake Co.,
Illinois. I�
After considerable discussion, a motion was-made by
Trustee Palmer -and seconded by Trustee Stupple to accept
a tentative plat for the proposed pubdivision in the I�2 of
the N 4 of Sec.' 32, T. 43N, R. 12, . E.- of the 3rd P. M. in
the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, subject to
his presenting to this Board a revised plat - conforming to the
ordinances of the Village of Deerfield.
Roll call resulted as follows.' Trustee Palmer,
Peterson, and Stupple. Nays- Trustee Pottenger and Schneider.
Motion carried.
The following resolution was read and it was -moved by
Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Palmer to adopt
same.
Motion unanimously carried` Those voting "Ayell being
Trustee Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple.
._Those voting "Nay" being None.
RESOLUTION
7HERE'AS, a•contract was entered into with Ballman and
"lain whereby said firm was to.- purchase from this Village $26,000
Setirer -eater Revenue Bonds, said agreement to purchase being
subject to the legal opinion of Messrs. Chapman and Cutler,_
Bond Attorneys of Chicago;.and '

TMREAS, the Village has been advised by said Ballman and
Hain that Chapman and Cutler.will not approve this bond issue
unless and until the Village of Deerfield enters into -a thirty
(30) year contract with the 'City of Highland Park for the
purchase of vat'er: '
11057, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved that' said agreement with
Ballman and Main be and the same is-hereby cancelled.
A resolution authorizing and_direciing_the President'and
Clerk of the Village of Deerfield to sign the acceptance of a
contract for the purchase of approximately $30,000.00 Sewer -
Uater Revenue Bonds at an interest cost to the Village of 4.85.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Ballman and 'Main have failed to take up and pay

for an issue of_Sewer —Dater Revenue Bonds of the Village of Deer-
field heretofore contracted for by that".firm; and
Z'THEREAS, the Village of Deerfield carried on negotiations
with Lewis, 57illiams & Company prior �to the signing of the contract
with Ballman and. Main; and
WHEREAS, the Village Officials are convinced that Lewis.,
57illiaXns &' Company are better qualified by experience- to assist .
the Village in issuing these bonds:
11057, .THEREFORE, Be It Resolved that the agreement just presented
by said Lewis, Williams and Company for the purchase of said bonds
and calling for their assistance in-the issuance of said bonds,.
be and the same is, hereby accepted and the Village President and
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the acceptance
of -said contract in behalf of the Village.

be scarified and shaped at a cost not to exceed $75.00.
