09/13/193816 September 13, 1938. The regular meeting of the President and the -Board of Trustees was. called to order by the President C.-M. 7illman -at 8 P. H. with the following responding to roll-call." Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Absent- .None. . . . . . . The minutes of our meeting held August 9, 1938 were read and approved. .A motion was made by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Schneider that the President be authorized to issue Tax Anticipation Warrants not to exceed $5,000.00 with a 3'110 interest rate and these are to be issued in $1,000.00 denom- inations. Motion unanimously carried. Those voting; "Aye" being Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Those voting "Nay" being None. • The Police Chief McLaughlin was instructed to issue tickets for all owners that have not purchased their 1938 Vehicle and Dog Licenses. . Mr. Earl. Hurt of the Public Service Co. gave data on the cost of changing the present lighting system in the busi- ness district and in B•riarwoods Subdivision to the metering system. Action was postponed to some later meeting. Plans for the alteration and a additions to the trio ex- isting sewerage treatment plants were presented and discussed. It was moved by,Trustee Peterson and seconded by Trustee Pal- mer to place these plans on file and authorizing James Anderson & Co. to forward copies to the State Sanitary Water Board for their approval. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas - Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Nays- None. Motion carried. -The Auditor Albert L. Raderick read his report on the examination of the records and accounts of the Village Collector and Village Treasurer for the four months period ending Aug. 31, 1938. A motion was made by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by__ Trustee Schneider to accept report as read. Roll call resulted as-follows. Yeas- All. Nuys- None. Lotion carried. The following bills were read and it was moved by :Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Peterson that'they be approvea for payment on receipt of proper funds.
