Village Clerk President of the Board ;�ay 10, 1938. The regular meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President C. M. Willman at 8 P. 11. with the following responding to roll call;. Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson,. Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Absent- None. The minutes of our regular meeting held April 12, 1938 were read and approved. The chairman of the Health and Public Relations Committee stated that according to the Health Officer there were 18 Cases of measles and 2 of chicken pox. - The.' Auditor Albert L.•Roderick read the report as to the financia condition of the Village of Deerfield as of- April -i g, 1938. A motion was made by Trustee Hertel and seconded by Trustee .Schneider authorizing the Building Commiesioner,to take the necessary steps for the removal of the condemned building on Waukegan Road owned by'Karl S. Moras and - whatever expense is inv &lved shall-be�collected. from the owner. Roll call resulted as follows. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Those voting "Nay" being None. 'potion carried. 3 4A A request was made by the Fire Department that the Village Board authorize the purchase of 1r11 fire hose. A motion was --made by Trustee Peterson which wa& duly seconded by Trustee - Schneider that the Chairman of the Police and Fire Department -together with the Fire Chief be authorized to purchase 300 feet 1211 fire hose at the best price possible. Roll call resulted as- follows. Yeas - Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Nays- No:p.. Motion carried. - crow~^^ notice of continuance of hearing in the matter of applica- tion for certificate of convenience and necessity to operate as a motor carrier for transportation of persons between Niles, Morton Grove, , Golf, Glenview, Techny ", Northbroog and Deerfield to be held May 26, 1938 at the office of the Illinois Commerce Commission was read and the President appointed Trustee Peterson to represent the Village of Deerfield at this meeting. The Clerk was instructed to write Consoer, Townsend and Quinlan for maps showing locations and measurements of all sewer connections which are not now on-file in our office.
