Village Cleft. President of the Board. March 8, 1938. The regular meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by .the President C. M-.-Willman at 8 P. M. Roll call- Present- Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson,, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Absent- None. The minutes of our regular meeting held Eebruary: 8, 1938 were read and approved. A report from the Health Officer stated, that we have at the present time seven,cases o;f measles, one of scatlet fever and o1}e of chicken pox. k motion was made`by Trustee Palmer and seconded by Trustee Peterson that the Police Committee be authorized to appoint someone to make a check -up regarding the dumping of garbage on the Easton property which is being. leased to William Bubert. Roll call resulted as follows. Those voting I'Ayell.- being Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Those voting "Nay" being None. Lotion,carried. The chairman of the Road and Bridge Committee stated i that new catch basins have been built in Somerset Avenue and...; that gravel is being placed on Broadmoor Place. Moved by Trustee Schneider and sedonded.by'Trustee Stupple that the names of owners of condemned buildings which have not been torn down be given to Corporation Counsel McGaughey with instructions to draw up the proper notices to these owner$ to wreck these buildings at once or they would be taken down by the village.at the expense of the owner. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- trustee Hertel, Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Nays- None. Motion carried. A motion.was made by.Trustee.Pottenger_- and.seeonded by Trustee Hertel to. continue the Deerfield State. Bank as the depository for the_funds.of the.Collector, Florence -E.' Page Stryker.
