would meet as a canvassing board to tabulate the result of the special
election held December 19, 1949, the President Andrew G. Bradt called

Wilson.
Absent- None.
Trustee Peterson nade a motion which was seconded by Trustee Wilson
that the attached resolution, as read., be adopted.

2. This Board finds that tha said notice was prepared,
posted, and published, and the election Was held and conducted
in accordance with the said ordinance of this-Bo - ard and also
with the requirements of the laws of Illinois.
3. This Board finds from the returns of the election
submitted to and canvassed by this Board that the total number of

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election
will be held in and for the Village of Deerfield, Lake County,
Illinois, on ?Monday, the 19th day of December, 1949, for the
purpcse of submitting to the voters of said Village the follow-
ing proposition:
Shall the maximum tax rate for the general
corporate fund of the Village of Deerfield,
Lake County, Illinois, be established for the
years 1950 through 1952, both inclusive, at
.196 percent on full, fair cash value instead
of .126 percent, the ma,;imum rate otherwise
applicable to the next taxes to be extended?
It is e -stimated that the approximate amount extendible
under the proposed rate for general corporate purposes, ocom-
puted upon the last known full, fair cash value is 'I', 04.x1•
It is estimated that the approximate amount extendible under
the rate othertivrise applicable for general corporate purposes
to the taxes next to be extended, computed upon the last known
full, fair cash value, is %2,153.09.
For said election said Village has been divided into

Peterson that the President and Clerk of the Board of Trustees
be authorized to sign the two-year rental extension agreement
as submitted by-the Deerfield Temple Association for the
premises used for village purposes.

Raymond Goodpasture tendered his resignation as Chairman of
the Plan Commission and his resignation was accepted by the

seconded by. Trustee Hinchsliff that the-appointment.-be-approved

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE- VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD? LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of -
Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, passed and approved February
6, 192.1 , be and It Is hereby amended as follows
"That the portion of the followin3.described real estate
which is not already zoned for light manufacturing, con-
sisting.. of approximately two acres in the northeast, cor-
ner of the following _described parcel, to -wit:
The '.Pest 276.18 feet of the East 476.18 feet f the
South 788.62 feet of the South - of the Southwest 4
of Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 12,-East of
the- 3rd P. M. ,' containing five (5) acres, all located
in the Village of Deerfield, Lake'County,,Illinois,
be, and the same is hereby rezoned and changed so that
