Trustee Mercurio made a motion which was seconded by Trustee
Stanger that it be resolved that the installation of the Sanitary, Storm
Sewer and Watermain in the Westview Subdivision be approved and on the
basis of Engineer D. J. L. Walther's final plan 3771 -U2, the•same be
accepted.

Mercurio, Peterson and Stanger. Nays& None. Motion carried.
It was moved by Trugtet $jfield and seconded by Trustee King that
we purchase Slow signs for f traffic at the school.

that we appropriate 0300.00 out of Motor Fuel Tax -q%=s for the repair of
Arterial Streets in the Village of Deerfield.

Trustee Stanger made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Mercurio.
that we raise the Village Attorney Erwin Seago's retainer fee from 440.00
to $50.00 per month and the same to be retroactive as of July 1, 19489.

that we advertise for sealed bids to be publicly opened and read at our
regular meeting September 14, 1948 for a proposed lighting system at the
Intersection of Waukegan Road and Deerfield Road.

The minutes of the regular meeting held August 10, 1948 were read

No bids having been submitted for the proposed lighting of the
'intersection of Extension S. A. Route 11 ( Deerfield Road) and S. B. I.
Route 42A (Waukegan Road), it was moved by Trustee L'ercurio and seconded
by Trustee Bradt that we..again advertise for sealed bids for;the above
mentioned improvement, the same to be publicly opened and read at our r
regular meeting of October 12, 1948 at 8 o'clock P. M. Oil

we as a village become members of the Illinois L4unicipal League and that

we approve the report of the Board of appeals of the Village of Deerfield, Lake

the following ordinance and that the ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, be passed.
