The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield was called to order at 8 P. M. and in the absence of
Preident Robert S. Alexander, Trustee Mercurio was appointed to act as
President pro -tam.
Roll call- Present- Trustee Banfield, Bradt, Mercurio, Paterson and
Stanger.
,Absent - Trustee King.
The minutes of the,regular meeting held May 110 1948 were read.and
apiaoved.
The following bills were read and a motion made by Trustee Stanger
and seconded by Trustee Bradt that these bills bw paid, if, as,.and when
funds are available.

Trustee Stanger made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Bradt that
the report of Police Magistrate Hunt showing $82.00 in fines- collected
during hhe month of May, 1948 be received and placed on file.

A letter from Percy Wilson & Co. and another from Conrad Moely, Prairie
du Sac, Wisconsin, relative to Special Assessment Bonds have been referred to
the Village Attorney and the.Treasurer for their consideration.

authorize the removal of excess dirt from the south end of the newly dedicated
Chestnut St., under the supervision of our Village Engineer.:
