A motion was nade by.Trustee Mercurio and seconded by-TrusteeKing ` that a permit be granted to the Deerfield- Bannockburn-Volunteer Fire Department to hold a carnival in the Village of Deerfield on July 9, 10 and' 11, 1948 as per their request of October 10, 1947; that a permit be granted. to Deerfield Post No. 738,Inc. to hold a carnival on•tiugust 12, 13 and 14, 1948 as per their request of October 29, 1947; and also that a permit be granted'to.the Amvets Deerfield ?ost No. 63 to hold a carnival on August 20, 21 and 22, 1948 as per their request of February 18v-1948, provided in each case that a 4i500.00 surety bond be deposited and approved by the Village Board- gauranteeing the proper eompliance'by' the applicant with all ordinances of the Village of Deerfield.
