The minutes of the regular meeting held on April 8, 1947 and of the special meeting held on April 16, 1947 werw read and approved. It was moved by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trustee Stanger that the following resolution relative to Hickory Woods Subdivision be adopted as read: RESOLVED, that the plat of Hickory roods, being a subdivision of part of the =4 of the NW4 of Sec. 34 and of part of the SW4 of the SW4 of Sec. 27, all in Township l+3N, Range 12, East of the 3rd P. Trustee Mercurio made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Banfield that permission be granted to the Deerfield Fire Department to erect a sign on their property on Deerfield Road just east of the St. Paul right of way advising the public that this is to be the future site for the new fire station. Bradt The Finance and Auditing Committee will have in its charge all financial matters,-including financial statements, budgets, etc., and will be charged with the-duty -of recommending to the Board any necessary auditing. Barfield The 'Police and Fire Committee will have jurisdiction over the' Police Department, Including their equipnent'end personnel and will confer , with the Fire District in bringing all matters before the Board which require attention. Stanger The Water Committee will have charge of the-construction, operation,, and maintenance,of all water mains and the operation and maintenance of meters and other related equipment.
