The regular meotinggof that President and Board of Trustees of the
Village_of Deerfield -.was called to order by the President Robert S.
Alexander at eight P.M. with the following trustees responding to the
roll- call -- Bradt Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger. Absent Trustee
Tennis.
The .minutes of the regular meeting held March 11, 191,7 were read
and approved.
Plats for the widening of jonquil Terrace to a width Of 1+0 feet,
andeof Western Homes, Inc. Subdivision, were presented and referred to
the Planning Commission.
Trustee Mercurio made a notion which was seconded by Trustee
Stanger that Percy ".Filson & Company be permitted to erect a bill board -
on their property just north of Longfellow Avenue and facing Waukegan
..Road. Rollcall- Yeas - A11. Nays- None. Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trusteec Cazel
that our Village Attorney write to the National Brick Company informing
them that the burning of debris at the brickyard must be corrected
within five days after receipt of notice to comply with Sections 285,
287, and 288 of our Municipal Code. Roll call resulted as follows-
Yeus- Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger. Nays - None.
Motion carried.
• A motion was made by Trustee Mercurio which was seconded by
Trustee Cazel that we adopt the ordinance changing S.E. I of Lot 60
and the N. Wly j of Lot 61 in Goldman's North Shore Golf Links
Subdivision from "A" residence to "B" residence. ,. -
Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee Bradt,
Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Stanger. Nays- Hone. Motion carried.
