01/21/1947 + 02/11/194778' I _a i h January 21, 1947• A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President Robert Be Alexander for the purpose of discussing and taking whatever action is necessary for the extension of our water system, at 9:CO P. Me Roll call. Present- Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott and Tennis. Absent - Trustee Stanger. A motion eras trade by Trustee Bradt and seconded by Trustee 'Tennis that the Village Engineer be authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the extension to our water system-in accordance with Plan A as described in the Engineer's letter to us under date of November 6, 1946._ Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mcreurio, Scott and Tennis. Nays- None. Motion carries —f -� Moved, seconded and carried t Village Clerk. The minutes of the regular meeting held January 149 1947 and the opecial,meeting held January 21, 1944 were read,and approved. Trustee Stanger made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Tennis that the following billa be paid, if, as and when funds are available. Fuel Tax Fiend for day labor and material for the installation of the 2 street lights at the intersection of Waukegan and Deerfield Roads. This motion was seconded by Trustee Stanger. Roll call. Yeas — Trustee Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays - None. Lotion carried. Trustee Mercurio made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Tennis that the Village Attorney be instructed to write to the Illinois Commerce Commission and the Interstate Commerce Commission regarding the poor train service on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St..Paul and Pacific Railroad and that he be authorized to file the necessary complaint on both the suburban and the through service.' Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Those voting "Nay" being None.- A motion was made by Trustee Tennis and seconded by Trustee Stanger that the resolution including additional lots in Solomon's Subdivision .to those included in the resolution passed March,12, 191+6 for the fore- closure of the lien of spacial assessments levied against this property, be passed. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas - Trustee Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and-Tennis. Nays- None.
