Aletander at 8 P. 11. with the following Trustees responding to the roll call, Cazel,- Mercurio, Stanger and Tennis. - Absent- Trustee Bradt and Scott: The minutes of the regular meeting held May 14, 1946 and of the - adjourned;Lestine held June 4, 1946 were read and approved. Mr. John H. Heinemann informed the Village Board that they were about to file an application with the Illinois Commerce Commission for a certificate to operate as a bus line between Deerfield, Highland Park and Highwood under -the"name-of-Highland-Coach Lines, Inc. A motion was made by Trustee Cazel and seconded by Trustee Mercurio that the resolution for maintenance of Arterial Streets by the Village.of Deerfield under ha Motor Fuel Tax Law from June 1, 1946 to December 31, 1946. f-,- - Upon roll all the following vote was taken. .Yeas- Trustee Cazel, Mercurio, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None. Motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Tennis and seconded by Trustee Stanger that Estmate Number One and Final in favor of George D Hardin for materials furnished and labor performed under his contract with the Village of Deerfield for thevrestoration of two storm outfall sewers in the amount of $4825.00, and also a bill in favor-of D. J. L. Walther for engineering services on the above mentioned job in the amount of $289.50; -be paid. Lotion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Caul, Mareurio, Stanger and Tennis. Those voting "Nay" being None. Trustee Stanger made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Tennis that letters be written to the Building Commissioner, Superintendent of Public Works and the Health Officer advising them that a letter has been received from the State Fire Inspector requesting that any multiple buildings not having a front and rear exit or which may be a fire hazard be reported to him. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas - Trustee Cazel, Mercurio, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None.
