04/29/1946ji 35 Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas - Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None. Motion carried. Trustee Mercurio made a motion that permission be granted to the Chicago Childrens'League to tag in the Village of Deerfield on October 8, 1946 and that the President Robert Alexander notify -the league of tte Board's action. This motion was seconded by Trustee Tennis. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas - Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None. - Motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Mercurio and seconded by Trustee Bradt that the letter from the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois agreeing to.furnish such amount of electrical energy as may be reasonably necessary for the lighting of the Village Hall, Police and Fire Stations on South Waukegan Road without charge so long as the ordinance passed by - -�\ the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield on April 9, 1946 shall remain in full force and effect# be. accepted and placed on file. A motion was made by Trustee Tennis and seconded by Trustee Scott that the Village Board appropriate $500.00ttoward the payment of a duster Plan contract as submitted by the Plan Commission contingent upon the �( raising of the balance of $3500.00 by popular subscription.. 1` Motion unanimously carried.
