A motion was made by Trustee Cazel-and seconded by-Trustee
Mercurio that the Chairman of the '.dater Comrittee be authorized
to seek a permit from the City of Highland Park, to mnke a 10t,
connection with their water system.
Motion unanimously carried. -Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio) Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Those

November 26, 1945.
A special meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President
Robert S. Alexander at 8 P. M. for the purpose of opening bids for
labor and material necessary for the construction of concrete
headwalls and storm sewer and relaying storm sewers.
Roll call— Present — Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott,
Stanger and Tenpis.
Absent — None.
The . following bids were submitted:

Trustee Mercurio-,made a.motion that the contract for labor
.and material necessary - -for the construction of concrete headwalls
and storm sewer and relaying storm sewers be awarded to George D.
Hardin, 3139 Indiana Avenue, Chicago, Illinois as his was the
lowest bid.
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis.

The regular meeting of the President and the.Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to,order by the
President Robert S. Alexander at 8 P. M. ,
Roll call. Present— Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott
and Stanger. Absent— Trustee Tennis.
The minutes of the regular.meeting held November 13, 1945
and the special. meeting held November 26, 1945 were read and
approved.

Mr. Krause of CLicago,.Illinois requested permission WW
to erect a building for the operation of a. woodworking plant
and it was suggested that he furnish plans and if these met the
requirements of our building code, a permit would be granted.
A motion was made by Trustee Stanger and seconded by
Trustee Mercurio that the following resolution authorizing
the instituting of -foreclosure proceedings against the following
described property, be passed. .
Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas — Trustee Bradt, Cazel,
Mercurio, Scott ant Stanger. .Nays— None. Motion carried.

.Trustee Cazel that we transfer One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars
from the eater Ftind to the General Fund. '

It was moved by Trustee Scott and seconded by Trustee
Mercurio that we accept the report of Police Ma-Sistrater Hunt
dhowing $40.00 in fines collected during the months..of October
and November, 1945. ,.

Trustee Mercurio made a motion that the existing Vehicle
Ordinance be amended as follows; car owners shall pay an annual
license fee of $4.00 instead of $3.00. This motion was seconded
by Trustee Cazel.

Stanger that we transfer $1341.43 from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund
to the credit of the Road and Bridge Fund and that $1271.02 be
transferred from the Road and Bridge bland to the.Vater Fund to
reimburse the said fund for: monies transferred to Special
Assessment 7a.rrant #46 for monies paid out on the Diamond T
Truck:.
