It was moved by Trustee Scott and seconded by Trustee Cazel
that we purchase an overcoat and a pair of trousers for Police
Chief McLaughlin.
.Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas- Trustee
Bradt, Cazel, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- None. motion carried
Trustee Bradt made a motion which was seconded by Trustee
Cazel that plane, specifications be prepared and that we advertise
for bids for the construction of headwalls and stor= sewers for"
the East Side Storm Sewer System and also prepare plans and spec-
ifications for an auxiliary watermain across the Nest Skokie
Drainage Ditch.
Motion carried. Those voting "Ayes' being Trustee Bradt,
Cazel, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Those vot "Nays' being None.

The regular meeting of the President and the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the
President Robert S. Alexander at 8 P. M. with the follcwing
trustees responding to the roll call; Bradt, Oaze1, Mercurio,
3c:.tt, tstanger and Tennis. Absent- None.
It-
The. minutes of the regular meeting held October 9, 1945 were read, and approved.
Trustee Mercurio made a motion that Otto H. Knaak be granted
permission to erect a garage on the rear of Lot 1 Block 2 in
Deerfield Park Land and Irmrovement Association with the under-
standing that this building shall not be used as a, residence.
This motion seconded by Trustee Stanger.
Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas - Trustee Bradt, Cazel,;'
hercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Nays- done. Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Stanger and seconded by Trustee
iercurio that these bills be approved for payment on the receipt
of the proper funds.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yens- Trustee
Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Ttays- None.

A motion was made by.Trustee Stanger and seconded by Trustee
Bradt that we accept the contract as submitted by H. Horkan, doing
business as HAH Electric Co. of Chicago, Illinois for labor and
services necessary for the ma.intenance'of the Village street light -
ing systems and that the President and.Clerk be authorized to
affix their signatures to the said contract.
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being
Trustee Bradt, Cazel, Mercurio, Scott, Stanger and Tennis. Those

Trustee Bradt made a motion that we authorize the sale of
Bonds #21- 22- 23-and 24 Series B Docket #83 due October 1 , 1932

seconded by Trustee Stanger.

It eras moved by-Trustee Stanger , and seconded by Trustee
Tennis that we withhold 2,o of the monies now on hand in Special
Assessment No. 60 and that the -balance be rebated on a pro -rata
basis to the property owners in Brierhill subdivision and who
can show receipts that they are entitled to a rebate.

that all Post War Literature be referred to the Public Relations
Committee, the same to be correlated with the.Planning Commission
and reports are to be made to this Board as often as information
is available.

Trustee Cazel made a motion that the tree in front of the

sidewalk repaired. This motion was seconded by Trustee Mercurio.

that the resolution a.uthorizing'the institution of proceedings
for the foreclosure of the liens of the unpaid special assess -
ment levied against Lot 21 and 22 in Deerfield-Acres, Lot 22 in
Block 7 in Woodland Park and Lots 25 and-27-,.in Otto B. Von Linde's
Subdivision, be passed.
