The special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order in the Council Chambers of the Village Mall on Monday, August
2, 10,54 at 7:30 P.M. pursuant to notice of said meeting mailed to each Trustee:
on Thursday, July 29, 1954. The Clerk called the roll and reported that the
following were
Present: John D. Schneider, President
Fred 0.-Dicus
Eugene ;F. Engelhard
Hubert 11. Kelley
Joseph W. King
Harold W. Wynkoop
Absent: ' Raymond T. Meyer
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting.
President Schneider discussed the details of the acquisition of land for
a right -of -way to the East side sewer plant.
Trustee Meyer entered the meeting and was present thereafter.
Trustee Dicus moved, seconded by Trustee Engelhard, that
Authorize Acquisition the President be authorized to enter into an agreement to
of Hirht -of -way acquire from t`.r. C. L.-Perkins property described as
follows:
That part of the east One -half, Southwest One- quarter, of Section 34, Township 43
North, Range 12 East; Commending at a point in the West Line of the East One -half,
Southwest One- quarter, of Section 34, 1200 feet from Southwest Corner of the East
One -half, Southwest One- Quarter, Section 34; thence North 593.6 feet along said
West Line; thence East 33 feet; thence south 593.6 feet, parallel with the West
Line of the Est One -half of the Southwest One- quarter of Section 34; thence
W6st 33 feet to the Point of Beginning.
and to convey to Mr. Perkins property now owned by Mr. Henry Nickelsen described
as follows:
That part of the Southwest One- quarter of the Southwest One- quarter, of Section
34, Township 43 North, fl nge 12, East, commencing at the Southeast corner of the.
Southwest one - quarter of the Southwest One- quarter of Section 34; thence North
1200 feet along the East line of the Wtst One -half, Southwest One- quarter, Section
34; thence West 33 feet, parallel to the South Line, Section 34; thence south
1200 feet parallel to the East Line of the . st One Half, Southwest One Quarts,
Section 34 to the South Line of Section 34; thence East 33 feet along the South
Line, Section 34, to the Point of Beginning.
and to acquire from Mr. Nicielsen property described as follows:
That part of the Southwest One Quarter of the Southwest One Quarter, of Section
34, Township 43 North, Range 12, East, commencing at the Southeast corner of the
Southwest One Quarter of the Southwest One Quarter, Section 34; thence North
1319.3 feet along the East Line, West One Half, Southwest One Quarter, Section
34, to the North Line of the Southwest One Quarter, Southwest One Quarter, Section
34; thence West 66 feet, parallel to the south line Section 34; thence South
1319.3 feet parallel to the East Line of the Southwest One Quarter, Southwest
One Quarter, Section 34, to the South Line of Section 34; thence East 66 feet
along the South Line of Section 34 to the Point of Beginning, except that
part thereof included in the Property desribed above.

There being no further business to come before the meetin , on motion duly
