Special.Meeting
The Special meeting of the board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Thursday,
May 20, 1954 at 8 :30 P.M. pursuant to notice of said meeting delivered to each
Trustee on May 19, 1954 before 7 :30 P.M. On.motion by—Trustee Engelhard, seconded
by, Trustee ..Dicus,„Tru .ttee:Joseph -W. King was appointed President pro tem. The
Clerk called the roll and reported the following were
Presents Fred 0. Dicus
Eugene F. Engelhard
Hubert N. Kelley
Joseph W. King
Absents John D. Schneider, President
R,ymond T. Meyer
Harold W. Wynkoop
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting.
Trustee Kelley moved, seconded by Trustee Engelhard,
Appoint M. F.--Rum that Mr. M. F. Rupp, Middletown, Ohio, be appointed
Village Manager Village Manager at a salary to be set by the Village
President, Mr. Schneider, and the President be
authorized to negotiate the salary. Adopted by the following votes
Ayes: Dicus, Engelhard, Kelley, King (4)
Nays: None (0)
Trustee Meyer, upon entering the meeting, expressed his approval of
the appointment, and Trustee Wynkoop approved the appointment by telephone.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion
duly made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned. '
