Meeting was called to order in the the Board Rooms of the
Village Hall, Deerfield, Illinois,.at eight o'clock P.-M.
Present on roll call were Eugene F. Engelhard, Willian-E..
Hinchsliff, Joseph 117. King, Vernon M. Y,6intzer and Clarence
Wilson. Absent - Village President, Andrew G. Bradt and
Trustee Tlynkoop. `
Motion was made by Trustee Eugene F. Engelhard, seconded by
Trustee Willian E. Hinchsliff, that Trustee Joseph W, Kidg
be President pro -tem in the absence of the Village President;
• on roll call, the results were :*Ayes - ELlgene"F. Engelhard,
Tlilliam E. Hinchsliff, Joseph 117. King "",Vernon M.- Meintzer and
Clarence Wilson. Nays - ..None.
Trustee Joseph W. King, thereupon assumed.the chair,.and
presided.`
The Village Clerk then presented an-ordinance` providing for
the' submission .to..the voters of the Village ofvDeerfield,
Lake County, .Illinois, the question of issuing $87,000.00 r4
Municipal.-Building Bonds-at a' special .election to -be . held
in and for the. said,Village:on the 21st'day of April, 1953.

After aid ordinance was. I read, Trustee William� E. Hinchsliff
moved', seconded ` by:Trustee - Clarence Vlilson'.that.said' ordinance
be passed. Under roll call.vote, the results were :-Ayes -
Eugene F. -Engelhard) William E. Hinchsliff, .loseph'.W.: King,
Vernon M. Meintzer and-Clarence Wilson- Days:- None.
The'President pro -tem, thereupon, declared the ordinance
adopted.
Mr. Day -W. Watts, associated" with the law firm. of Chapman
and Cutler addressed, the Village Board-.regarding the feasibility
of Deerfield joining the North..Shore Sanitary District,
The Village President appeared gfter the meeting had adjourned.

A--special ecial meeting bf the President-and-Board of Trustees'of the
Village of Deerfield was called to order by tie President
Andrew .G. Bradt at 8 P..M. for the purpose of. discussing further
the feasibility of Deerfield's.entry into;.the North Shore
Sanitary - District.'
�f present on roll were Trustee Engelhard, Hinchsliff, King,

Trustee Engelhard+made a motion, seconded by Trustee King that
the Village Board authorize Baxter and Woodman.to proceed with
the plans as.'set -forth in.Case #2 and to include the separation
of sewers or-such f Villager Boards and Thee IllinoisbSanitary Water
. Engineers, the Village
Board.
