Walther to make a survey and prepare preliminary planss with estimates
of costs$ for the improvement with black top or with waterbound macadam
_( penetration method) of certain streets in the Village of Deerfield and
any other matters requiring immediate attentiono.

it was moved by Trustee Wilson and seconded by,Trustee Maintzer that
we authorize Do Zo Le Walther to make a survey and Prepare preliminary
plans, with estimates of costs for the improvement with black top or
waterbound macadam (penetration method) according to village specifi-o
cations of the following streets:
1* Cherry streets, from Greenwood Avenue south to Somerset Street*
2* Somerset Streets from Cherry Street east to Broadmoor Place*i
3. EIder Lanes from Waukegan Road east to the end of the street•
4• Hemlock Street and Cedar Lanes, from Hazel Avenue on the north
to Cedar-Street and-the bridge on the south.

It was moved by Trustee Engelhard and seconded by Trustee Hinchsllff
that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake Couty,
Illinois -file a protest with.the Zoning$ Building, Sanitation.Enforse-
ment, Plate and -Map Department of,the Couty Board -of Sopervisors,
advising then that the National Brick Company has been operating_its
drag line beyond the original area of the non - conforming use and is
therefore in violation of the Lake - County Zoning Ordinance, and there•
fore requests that the Zoning, Building, Sanitation Enforcement, Plats
and Maps Department make an investigation and take immediate action to
stoptthis.violation.
Motion unanimously carried* Those voting "Aye" being Trustee - Engelhard,
HinchslifP, King, ra intzer, Wilson and WynYoope Those voting "Nat" being
None.
A motion was made by Trustee Engelhard and seconded by Trustee Wilson

Railroad and south of Deerfield Road on1Uednesday,.April 23, 19 2;

April.2140 1952; East of.the Milwaukee Railroad and north of Deerfield
Road on Friday, April 25, 1952; E�.st of the Milwaukee Railroad and south
of Deerfield Road on Saturday, April 26, 1952. ,
