The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President Andrew C..
Bradt at 8 P. Y*
Roll call- Present- Trustee.Enealhard, Hinchsliff, King, Meintzer,
Wilson aLd Tynkoop.
Absent -None.
The minutec of the regular meeting held August 13, 1951 were read
and approved.
The following bills were read and it was moved by Trustee Wilson and
seconded by Trustee Hinchsliff that these bills be paid, if, asD and
when funds are available.
Hotion unanimously carried. Those voting- "Aye" being Trustee Engelhard,
Hinchsliff, Ling, Heintzer, Wilson and wyxkoop. Those voting "Nay"
being Yone.

A motion was made by Trustee Engelhard and seconded by Trustee Maintzer
that we approve the installation -of an electric distribution center -on
the 'east side. ,of Wilmot Road approximately 1,980 Peet .south of Deerfield
P.oad on property described as the Wont 190 teat ortimore of the South,50
Peet of the North � 'of the South of the Northwest w of Soction 32,
Co,.4nship `43 North, Range IZ, East of the 3rd P. M6 in Lake Countyt
Illinois, and that the Clerk cause to be published a fifteen day notice
oft Public, Hearing to be held at the Village Full.

hereby adopted than:
1. A ZONING COIMTZSION be appointed by the President with the
consent of the Board of Trustees, said Zoning,Cor:mission to consist of
nine (9) members, who are residents of tho village of Deerfield.
20 That it shall -be -tae duty of said•Zoning= Commiasion to hear
--all natters concerning proposed zoning and'such other matters as pertain
to the adoption of the Village plan, and shall rake its firdin;s and
recomrisndations -to the Board of Trustees for final determination.
3. Said Zoning Conmission shall function and remain in axis-
terce -until the adoption of-the Village plan, at which time its tenure
shall autonatieally.terminate, or until otfioial action of the Board
of Trustees dissolving ssiid,*co =i3siona
k. Each member od said Zoning Commission shall be appointed for
the period of existence of paid Commission or unless removed by action
,of the Board of Trustees, in which case he-shall hold office 'until his
successor, is appointed and qualified.
5,%-'That a chairman- and'. vice- chairmman shall bo elected by the
.nine (9) members.comprising'said : cormisssion. The chairman shall -prey
side at.the mmetin -c.of the co=ission = and direct functions.` In the
absence of the chairman, the vice- chairman :shall preside-and exercise
all the powers of th- chairman.
